So, Brad and I took the boys to the Royals game on Monday night. We had a bit of a hard time actually getting to our seats. First, the wonderful parking attendants tried to get us to park pretty much in the back of the Chiefs stadium parking when there were plenty of spaces much closer. Needless to say, we got closer than the back 40. We get the boys out of the car and everything that accompanies them and stroll off to the gate. When we get up to the gate, I go to pull out our tickets, but they were not where we left them in the baby bag. I keep the boys with me and Brad hitches a ride on the fan assist cart to go back to the car and search for our 4 tickets. About 5 minutes later, Brad calls and says he found the tickets. We trek up to our new level and new seats. An usher flags us down to make sure that we know where we are going and wipes down the seats. Brad goes to grab some more paper towels after she leaves. While he is getting paper towels, a man walks over to me and says. "We have two extra seats up in the suite if you would like them. It looks like you have your hands full." Then, he walks away. Brad comes back and I tell him that I got two tickets with better seats. He asks," Where?" and then he looks at the tickets and sees "STE" in front of the seat numbers. His words were "Heck, yeah, we're going up there."
So, we watched the first 4 innings of the Royals game in the Frank White Lounge eating on Angus burgers, gourmet mac and cheese and hot dogs straight off the rotisserie. Oh, and of course, the giant snickerdoodles were good(at least that's what Brad and Taylor say). So, thank you, nice man from Ferrelgas who had extra tickets. We had a great time and Josiah enjoyed his first Royals game in the comfort of a nice, warm, dry suite.
Royals won 7 to 1 that night by the way. Jose Guillen hit his first home run(3 run homer) since he came back from the farm team.

What luck! And we all think we are spoiled in the Krueger and James seats... guess they need to get a suite now. Sounds like fun!
